Making your own boilies
To make your own boilies, you will need a boilie gun. For this equipment, opt for a manual model. There is also the pneumatic model which promises impressive ease of use. After the gun, you will also need a rolling table. This is an essential piece of equipment. For the realization of your recipe, we recommend you to choose your components well. A carp boilie can be made from different ingredients such as corn flour, wheat semolina, toasted soy flour, hazelnut flour, eggs and a flavouring of your choice. To prepare, simply mix the flours with the eggs. Try to make a dough and finally add your flavouring.
Once you have made your boilies with your gun and rolling table, it is time to cook them. This is also easy to do. Immerse your boilies in simmering water for 1 to 3 minutes. You can also use a deep fryer to make cooking easier. Wait for your boilies to rise to the surface and remove them. You can dry them.
To dry your homemade boilies, we advise you to use a sieve. This is the most important step. You have to be careful not to miss the drying process. Leave your boilies in a dry place for 24 to 72 hours. Once this is done, you can use them to catch your carp.
